Have some stress in your life?

We can help!

Join us for a guided experience to experience the centuries old practice of hot, cold, rest, hydration and repeat.

A sauna session at Kodawari almost always includes three rounds of hot and cold contrast with some rest and hydration along the way. The stress you came in with will NOT leave with you.

Sauna, as a wellness practice, is truly accessible to ALL people, bodies, abilities, etc. Don’t create a barrier to your entry where there isn’t one! You don’t have to be ‘in shape’ or flexible or ‘strong’ or ‘resilient’ or one of the ‘cool’ kids to have a sauna practice.

We use cold water or cold plunges, as a contrast and recovery from the heat. This involves dunking the body into cold water immediately after the exposure to the heat of the sauna to enhance the overall mental, spiritual, emotional and physical recovery process.

We also encourage you to pay special attention to your hydration before, during and after your session. The average person loses about a pint of sweat in the sauna, so be sure to drink plenty of water.

Still not convinced?

We get that the experience as a whole can seem intimidating. That’s why we compiled a full list of all the reasons why sauna can benefit you — body, mind, and spirit.
